The remote Island of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands has a real connections with the venue for the London Olympics in 2012.

Ships regularly sailed to and from Gran Canaria and Canary Wharf delivering both dogs from the Island some of the preservable products direct to the King of England
Canary Wharf which will tower over the Olympic Stadium horizon is just across the river Thames from the Palace where Henry VIII lived in Greenwich London.

Gran Canaria was the remote Island to which the Kings ships would sail in search of Canaria dogs and all year round fresh summer fruits and vegatables.

The Gardens of the Palace at Greenwich are now a park, where the events such as horse riding competition will take place

There are lots of ways to find us, but one of the simplest way is know that we are on the only road that leads down to the beach at Playa del Ingles.
That road is called Avenida Alféreces Provisionales, we a little offset from the road - pavement, just 30 seconds walk past where the Hard Rock Cafe use to be
